A new 5,000 Livres dated April 1st 2021 was released on April 26th 2022. It is signed by Banque Du Liban governor Riad Salamé and first vice governor Wassim Mansouri (Sig_30). It was printed by PWPW printers in Poland. It has same design and dimensions of the previous 2012-2014 5,000 Livres but with a distinctive grey security thread.
